PSALM 34:18 | GOD IS NEAR

In moments of pain, betrayal, loss, or discouragement, it is easy to feel vulnerable. During such times, the enemy may whisper lies like: God has forsaken you. You are alone. It’s over for you.

Yet Scripture reminds us of an unshakable truth—God is near.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

Even when circumstances feel lonely and overwhelming, God draws near. He does not come merely to observe our pain, but to rescue and restore. He understands the depth of what we are going through and walks with us through it.

His rescue may come in different ways. Sometimes He removes the trouble, sometimes He gives strength to endure it, and other times He provides guidance and comfort along the way.

This verse calls us to shift our focus—from the weight of our circumstances to the nearness and character of God. Even in the midst of trials, we can remember who He is: good, faithful, loving, and full of mercy.

If today feels painful, discouraging, or lonely, remember that God is close to you.

Declare with confidence:
“Lord, thank You for never abandoning me, even in difficult moments. You are always with me.”
