Go is Ever Present
When life has been good to you, it is easy to think and say: God is good. But what about when life seems to be falling apart. What do you think and say of God?
It is
during these moments of trial, hardship, and struggles that the enemy’s voice
becomes louder. We tend to believe every lie that the enemy speaks. Such as God
is distant, absent, and unforgiving. Yet the Bible continues to speak of an
unshakable truth: God is ever-present.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” – Psalm 46:1
God is
ever present. It doesn’t matter what kind of troubles you are facing, He is
always right there with you. It may not look it, feel like He is, but the truth
remains constant. God is ever-present.
When we
know and truly believe that the Almighty God is standing right next to us, even
what seems like the worst-case scenario, has no power to shake us. Later, the
Psalmist writes,
“Therefore,
we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the
heart of the sea.”
When life
hits rock-bottom, there’s only one place where we can take shelter, draw
strength, and find hope; and that is in the name of the Almighty God.
Today,
scripture invites us to declare boldly:
“The Lord
Almighty is with us.”
