You are Stronger than you Think

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13

Seeds come in different sizes and shapes; each designed with their distinct properties and the kind of fruits they were meant to produce. Some are designed to grow in harsh conditions, low altitude while others in high altitude. If they stay up in shelves they will never become what they were designed to be. The only way is through planting. Each seed is designed with qualities to enable it handle the challenges it will face.

In the same way, each one of us is designed uniquely with God’s DNA in our system. When God designed us, He made sure that we had His strength, the spirit of a conqueror, an over-comer, courage and full of ‘I CAN DO’ power in our system. God put into consideration the kind of obstacles and challenges we are going to face in life; thus, He designed us with excellent qualities that would help us over-come such challenges.

Obstacles will always come our way. Things that we didn’t foresee will have to deal with. The pressures of life can weigh us down; drain our energy, and sometimes we think what we are up against are so big, so overwhelming that we can never get through them. No challenges or difficulties that we face in life, came as a surprise to God. He allows such trials knowing that we are well equipped, stronger than we think, and more powerful to withstand the pressures of life. Since God allowed the pressure, it means you can handle it.

Like a seed that is being planted, you may feel like the challenges of life are burying you down into the ground but they are only making you stronger. Some of life’s challenges are meant to help you become the very best you were designed to be. Even the seed fight its way up through the dark, unfamiliar places and the pressures that surround it in order to shoot above ground. You will never know how strong you are until you face the pressures of life.

Friends, be encouraged. You are courageous, an over comer, well-able, equipped, and stronger than you think. Even the devil knows this, that’s why he’s trying to stop you from becoming what God created you to be by putting thoughts of fear, weak, defeat and never enough in your mind. The devil knows if you ever knew what God put in you; you would defeat them. Tap into the greatness that God put in you; it is part of your DNA.

See yourself according to how God sees in you and not according to how you feel. Feelings may tell you that you are weak, but see yourself as strong. Feelings may tell you that you are overwhelmed you can’t handle it. But see yourself as a conqueror, and say ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me’. It is important that you change your perspective, and your attitude. A negative attitude and ‘I can’t do’ mentality won’t help you. See yourself through God’s eye and discover the strength that you didn’t have. It is upon you to tap into it.

You are created to thrive not just to survive. It is important that you let go of the negative mentality that is holding you back. Be positive, stay positive, believe in the very best that God made you to be. Instead of going around through the day complaining, let your mouth speak praises and thanksgiving to God. You were made for more. See yourself according to how God designed you to be.

  “But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. ” – Psalm 13:5 Psalm 13 is one of the shortest psalms of David, and yet a powerful one.
