Only God Knows...

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight” – (Hebrew 4:13 NIV)

Do you feel like you are overwhelmed by the weight of life upon your shoulders? You make a lot of sacrifices and yet no one seems to take notice of what you are doing? You go through difficult moments in life but still manage to hide the pain and the hurt behind your smiles. You go through all these thinking no one will ever understand, or get the real picture of your life.

Well friend, do not be dismayed. God knows what you are going through. The difficult path that you walk right now, this too God knows and understands it perfectly. He knows and understands your worries and thoughts from a far, even the ones that dread you the most. The sacrifices that you make and the times you cry alone in the bedroom; this too God is aware of. Be encouraged. You are not alone, neither are you forgotten. You got a friend up in Heaven who knows you by name, and who had already met you even before you were formed in your mother’s womb. His name is Jesus.

The hairs on your head are all numbered. Not just by total number, but each hair individually. He knows when hair number 2055 turns gray or is cut. Nothing about your life is hidden from Him. God cares about even to the little things that don’t matter. Knowing every single detail about you is a clear demonstration of how much He has keen interest in your life. In God’s eyes, you are valuable, loved, and a friend. He’s the friend who will always want the best for you, who will never grow tired of you, whose desires are for you to enjoy life to the fullest, a faithful friend who is more than ready to help you in times of need.

As Peter write “Casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.” Whatever burden you’ve been carrying alone, it is time to cast it in God’s hands. He cares for you and would love for you to live a burden free life. God cares for you and loves you more. Let Him help you.

You may have prayed about the concerns of your life but nothing seems to be ever happening. So you are tempted to ask: ‘Does God really know the urgency of my need and what is happening in my life?’ Just because you are unaware of God’s work behind the scene doesn’t mean He's unaware of what is happening in your life.

Let go of the temptation to worry, or fear. He’s right there with you in every single step that you take. “The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit” Psalm 34:18. Remember to always look up to God whenever trials are heavy upon you. May you find comfort in knowing that God had already worked out your case even before the problem arose.
