Living in God's Presence

“In your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures” – Psalm 16:11

How wonderful it is to do life with God. Without God, all of our ways fail. That’s why when we pray, we ask that God may guide our paths, make our crooked path straight, and rough paths smooth. We need God to succeed, we need God to make our life easier, we need Him for peace in a world that is very chaotic. Basically, in everything we depend on the presence of God; for we can’t do anything on our own.

Imagine this, when people of influence pay you a visit such as King, Queen, or President you are definite that you have found favor in their sight. When other people see this, they will want to associate with you, great opportunities will come your way, and your life will change for better. How much better will your life be when God’s presence always surrounds you?

When God’s presence is with you; your strength is renewed which enables you to fight bigger giants. When the presence of God is always with you; favor and all that is good keep chasing you down. In the presence of the Lord, we are able to find guidance in moments when we are lost, rest in times of trouble, success in difficult times, comfort in moments of pain, provision in times when we have nothing, empowerment in when our vision is lost, and strength and hope during trying moments.

So, how do we invite God’s presence into our lives? We invite God into our lives by acknowledging His presence through prayers. Simply, ask God to help you in all of your ways and to guide you through the difficult situations in your life. Each day when I wake up, before I do anything, I ask God to guide me through the day. It doesn’t have to be anything complicated just a simple prayer. “Lord, help me do this day right”, “Lord, I need you today”, or “Lord, thank you for this day and I need you for the rest of the day”. I have understood that when you have God with you throughout the day, you get to experience His joy and favor. And even if the wrong things happen, people hurt you or you face a difficulty He gives you comfort, guidance, peace and strength to endure and fight through the difficulty. 

God is always present everywhere; by acknowledging His presence, we are able to tap into His power. 

I pray that the presence of the Lord may always be with you. To guide you, comfort you, strengthen you, and to give you joy, peace and favor. It is my prayer that you will invite God in everything that you do and in all circumstances that you may find yourself in. He’s always more than willing to help. Be Blessed!

Trust Beyond the Silence

  “But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. ” – Psalm 13:5 Psalm 13 is one of the shortest psalms of David, and yet a powerful one. In this psalm, three times he asks, ‘ How long? ’ indicating a phase of deep distress and abandonment in his life. He begins this psalm by asking God, “ How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever?
